Os lenços dos namorados, was a creative activity developed by the students in the Language Mix, a event promoted by the graduate students of the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures in the Spring Semester, 2025. This event included a Portuguese Creative Workshop, in which after seeing and speaking about the tradition of the “lenço dos namorados” in Viana do Castelo, in the north of Portugal, the students were asked to do their own: “lenço dos namorados” (“sweetheart handkerchiefs) in a paper that should include a popular poem of 4 lines written in different colours and with drawing or painting.
